Madison's Weekly YUMMM!

foodie lifestyle travel Sep 18, 2023

Searching for a great brunch spot? What about some surf n turf? Need to satisfy that sweet tooth craving? Then you’re in the right place! This week I’ll be adding this Madison, WI based, locally owned restaurant review all affiliated with the one and only Food Fight Restaurant Group!

Let’s get to it!

I’ve dined at Everly a few times now and this last time, the hubs and I decided to go for a casual dinner out. One of my favorite parts about Everly is how open and airy the place is. The aesthetics are so simple and clean, which I LOVE! On top of that, you literally can’t go wrong with a single thing on the menu, especially their craft cocktails!

What you need to know:

Venue Vibes: Located right in the heart of Monroe St (one of my fav areas of downtown), Everly has an incredible, covered patio, a large bar,, and plenty of seating with the perfect open concept, white based decor with natural pops of greenery and wood grains.

Cocktails: They do an insane job of going outside the box with their craft cocktails! Ryan loved his Jungle Bird so much, he had two and I had the True Blue, which was refreshing with a little floral sweetness! Also, the aesthetics of this cocktail alone…

Food: Ok, if you want to try a little bit of everything, I’d highly recommend going during happy hour! They do smaller versions of most of their apps for under $5! We took full advantage of this and I’m going to give you two MUST HAVES…the fried mozz gnocchi and the spicy tuna crispy rice! They’re both TO DIE FOR! We also had full entrees which were also incredible pictured below.

Price: $$ ($3.50-$20) Ry and I both thought our dinner was absolutely delish and wasn’t going to break the bank either. You can easily take advantage of happy hour and leave with a happy belly for under $25 with a cocktail!

SECRET TIP:  If you sign up for Everly’s email list, they’ll send over a free happy hour cocktail coupon! I’m always game for FREE drinks! You?! Click here to sign-up!
